Our editorial standards

Crypto is your money, and India taxes and regulates it strictly. So we hold our content to a clear standard: accurate, sourced, expert-reviewed, dated, and honest about what it is — and isn't.

Written and reviewed by experts

Our guides on crypto, markets, tax, and safety are written and reviewed by recognised analysts and educators from around the world who work with us. You can see the expert named on each article and read their full profile.

We cite primary sources

Legal, tax, and regulatory claims are backed by primary sources — the Income Tax Act (Sections 115BBH and 194S), FIU-IND and PMLA notifications, and official government or exchange documentation — not second-hand blogs. Where we state a rate or figure, we say where it comes from and when it was captured.

We fact-check before publishing

Every factual claim is verified against a primary or authoritative source before an article goes live. Tax figures, thresholds, and legal status are re-checked against the latest budget and notifications. Data pages state their methodology openly.

We date and update our content

Articles carry a publication date, and we revise them when the facts change — for example, after a Union Budget or a regulatory update. Time-sensitive figures like exchange rates are refreshed automatically and labelled as indicative.

We separate education from advice

Our content is educational. It is not individual financial, tax, or legal advice. Crypto is a high-risk, heavily taxed asset class in India, and we always recommend consulting a qualified chartered accountant or advisor for your specific situation.

We correct mistakes openly

If we get something wrong, we fix it. Spotted an error or an out-of-date figure? Tell us and we will review and correct it.
