Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 19, 2026
P2PLY ("we", "our", "us") operates a custodial platform for buying and selling USDT, and protecting the information you trust us with is central to how we run it. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Because we verify identities and hold customer balances, some collection is a regulatory requirement rather than a preference.
Information We Collect
Account data: your email address, phone number, chosen handle, and any referral code used at signup. Verification data: to meet our identity and anti-money-laundering obligations, we collect the identity documents and the live face-capture images you submit during onboarding and, where required, before an individual trade. Transaction data: your USDT balances, deposit and withdrawal addresses, and trade history on the platform. Technical data: IP address, device and browser identifiers, and usage activity that helps us keep the platform secure and working.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate your account and custodial balances, verify your identity and screen for fraud and money laundering, process trades and referral rewards, communicate service updates and security notices, meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and diagnose and improve the platform. We do not use your identity documents or face captures for advertising, and we do not sell them.
Data Sharing
We never sell or rent your personal information. We share it only where necessary to run the service: with regulated payment partners who handle the fiat side of a trade, with infrastructure and identity-verification providers acting on our instructions under confidentiality obligations, and with authorities where we are legally required to respond. Counterparties on a trade only ever see limited public signals — such as your handle, verification badge, and trade counts — never your documents, contact details, or balances.
Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for as long afterwards as anti-money-laundering, tax, and other legal obligations require — which for verification and transaction records can be several years beyond account closure. When a record is no longer needed for any of these purposes, we securely delete or anonymize it.
Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to restrict how we use it. Some data — particularly identity and transaction records tied to our legal obligations — we may be required to retain even after such a request. To exercise your rights, email support@p2ply.org; we respond to verified requests within 30 days.
Security
Identity documents and face captures are encrypted at rest and are accessible only through short-lived, signed links to authorized reviewers — never public URLs — with every access logged. We apply access controls, monitoring, and encryption in transit across the platform. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat the data behind identity verification and custody as some of the most sensitive we hold and protect it accordingly.
