Trading Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

The rules every buyer, seller and advertiser on the P2PLY marketplace follows, so that every trade is safe for both sides.

Who can trade

Anyone can sign up, deposit and browse. Opening an order, posting an ad, converting and withdrawing need an approved identity check. Frozen, banned or deleted accounts cannot open new orders, but any open order is still settled through the normal process.

Ads

  • An ad goes live as soon as it is posted. P2PLY can take an ad down, or put it back, at any time.
  • A sell ad needs the USDT in your balance: it is locked in escrow when someone opens an order on it.
  • Ad text and remarks may not contain phone numbers, emails, links, social handles or messaging apps. They are removed before anyone else sees them.
  • Price, limits and payment methods must be ones you can honour.

Orders

  • When an order opens, the seller's USDT is locked in escrow. The payment terms (method, account, amount and price) are fixed on the order and cannot be changed.
  • The buyer pays the exact amount, from an account in their own verified name, to the account on the order, within the payment window, then taps "I've paid".
  • The seller sees the buyer's verified legal name and should refuse a payment from anyone else.
  • The seller releases only after the money is in their own account, checked in their own bank or wallet app, never because of a screenshot.
  • Release windows: 15 minutes on instant methods (UPI, India bank transfer and IMPS, global instant payments, mobile wallets and e-wallets), 30 minutes on every other method. A missed window goes to a moderator.

Cancelling

The buyer can cancel before marking the order paid, and an unpaid order cancels itself when the payment window ends. If something is wrong after the buyer has marked it paid, open a dispute. Opening orders you do not mean to finish, or cancelling again and again, can pause your trading.

Keep it on P2PLY

Talk only in the order chat. Never move a trade to another app, never pay extra or "release first", and never share your password or 2FA code. Contact details in chat are removed before the other side sees them. P2PLY staff only ever contact you as @p2plyadmin on Telegram or Discord.

After the trade

USDT received from a P2P order can be sold again on P2P at once, but cannot be withdrawn or converted for 24 hours after it arrives. A bank payment can be reversed or reported as fraud after release, and the 24 hours protect both sides while that is sorted out. Approved merchants with a posted bond are exempt.

Fees

P2P trading is free for both sides. Convert costs 1%. Withdrawals carry a flat network fee shown before you confirm.

When something goes wrong

Disputes, evidence, decisions and appeals are covered by our Dispute Policy.
